Office On-grid solar Kawran Bazar, Dhaka

50 kWp of sunlight at Petrobangla.

A grid-tied rooftop solar plant commissioned on 1 February 2026. In its first two months it generated 11,585.7 kWh — every unit used on site instead of drawn from the grid.

The system

The 50 kWp array feeds a grid-tied inverter that supplies the building directly during the day. Whatever the roof produces is power the office doesn't buy from the grid. A datalogger reports every reading to an online dashboard, so performance is visible at any time.

What it adds up to

By early April 2026 the monitoring platform calculated 4,640 kg of CO₂ avoided, the same amount of standard coal not burned, and the equivalent of 638 trees planted.

Daily generation (kWh)

Values read from the plant's monitoring app; each bar is accurate to about ±3 kWh.
